Can’t talk, busy relaxing
After a seriously hectic week, we flew over to the UK on Friday (that we flew at all instead of making a mammoth journey by train, boat and a cross-country drive is thanks to the miracle of antibiotics), where it’s been a really lovely few days of catching up with almost every single one of my relatives, from the youngest at 13 and 16 months to the eldest at 92. There’s a bit of competition for the eldest, and the most diplomatic thing to do is to agree that my great grandma, my grandma (different sides of the family), and my great aunt are all the same age, because really, there’s only months in it. I will say that my great grandma and great aunt have wicked moves on the dance floor.
There have been family meals, family barbeques, walks on the beach, walks by a river and a castle, plenty of tea, and most importantly, two wonderful people were married.
We’re off now to relax properly in Cornwall for a few days, so we’ll see how the blogging goes.
In the mean time, Chris received the KitKats. You should go watch.
You’ve got some longevity in your family as well!
Thanks for the link to Chris! I laughed out loud..can’t wait to share with my hubby tonight!
Enjoy Cornwall!
