I have always wanted to have the chutzpah to do just that, but I have always chickened out and ripped and ripped and ripped. And gnashed my teeth. Very clever! Good-looking sweater, too. A few more Eastery treats would be well deserved.

I think you did a great job of saving it. Pretty sure it will even itself out either through blocking or with a bit of tweaking on the next few rounds.

Excellent surgery! I think it will even out with the blocking process. Otherwise you can just tack it in the back or something.

I think you did a great job with your tinking. If it still looks a little loose after a few more rows, a bit of pulling at the stitches around it should sort it out.
