Of COURSE the 1995 P&P is the only one that matters! I recently watched the 2006 version - is it just me, or did everybody just look incredibly GRUBBY? And since when does Lizzy hang out with dirty feet and stringy hair? Ugh!

whatever about mr darcy - I like your list...

was on a knife edge for a while wondering what you did with the pizza dough when I saw you'd had pasta for dinner but can relax now I know it is in the freezer - phew!

I want some microwaveable slippers (and this is not just a random want - my slippers do actually need replacing and my kids are planning to do so for my birthday, or so I hope. I think I have dropped enough hints!)

glad I found your blog. It seems like a nice place

DaviMack: Yes, totally, but I really don't mind. it's like Mr Darcy pops up in all sorts of unexpected places like a lovely treat.

Brian: I don't know whether to be impressed or bemused. Although I have to say the resemblance between you and Colin Firth is uncanny. Uncanny.

Now is the time to bring up the story I always bring up: "you know, I was Colin Firth's stand-in on a movie they filmed in Illinois about ten years ago..."

Jessica Lange also touched my butt.

And now, ever after, whenever you see Colin Firth in anything, does it confuse you? He was SO Mr. Darcy that I can't see him as anything else, ever again. It's sad, really ... or, well, kinda not, because he's such a GOOD Mr. Darcy!

Careful on that staying home bit - you'll turn all relaxed & happy, and then what good would you be? :)
