It’s a pity about flicker fiction - I used to rush home from work to read them on a Friday. I have the collection in a lovely book - might have got them published!

You’re right. Just because something happens doesn’t necessarily equate to posting about it. Who wants to be that transparent? And then who wants to read all of that?

And thank you for sharing your Facebook feelings. I was just asked to participate. Sure, I joined, but frankly have no time to keep that up (ditto with Ravelry) cuz life is full to overflowing at the moment. So, in addition to not knowing what to do with Facebook, I feel quite free to leave it alone for now, opting to spend the precious time with friends whom I can see sitting across the table from me….

I have a collection of journals dating from my 11th birthday to somewhere in my mid-20s. I loved it, and I love the fact that that whole section of my life is documented for me to one day go back and look at it.

Isobel there are just some things one must keep for oneself. Its lovely also to write longhand and then find the notebook at a later stage and see what your were at. I just love your blog though, your Flickr fiction is really good. I am just useless at writing creatively, so I admire those who can.
