Yes, you could have Dubya - and that’d be about as bad as what you’ve got, sounds like.

We vote absentee - and about a month before everybody else, right when we get the ballot. Takes a lot of the fun out of it, and gets really confusing when the ads start ramping up & you’ve already voted.

Alas, I’m out of the game for voting. And didn’t that ol’ Noel Ahern come to my door and when he found out that neither I nor Will were allowed to vote, he left me so fast that the breeze from his hasty retreat nearly knocked me over! Pfft…

I’m with you re the taoiseach! I couldn’t miss voting today because this is the first election that I get a vote in Dublin… and I have a direct vote against Bertie… and I was determined to use it! You don’t get an opportunity like that too often.

I’m glad someone else thinks that voting is something to really think about, instead of just voting for someone because you like their name or some other lame reason.

(And, consider this: at least you’re not stuck with George W. Bush …)
