You'd be surprised. We didn't think there were that many people having babies ... until T started knitting baby hats, just 'cause she'd found this really wonderful baby yarn. She's about 8 hats in, now, I think, and the babies still keep on coming.

Their heads grow faster than their hands, by the way, so they'll outgrow those hats in nothing flat. And then they'll cherish them, or pass them on, or something, but they'll know that you liked them. Or, you know, that you liked the yarn and couldn't think of a better way to use it.

Those socks were cute! You know, I would fancy getting to a stitch & bitch in Ireland! We're touring with a coach tour, so my time is packed to the gills as they cart us around! Any tips / hints on cool places in Dublin or around Ireland (we're headed to the touristy places in the southern portion)?? You know, in case of free time!

Cutey cutey cutey. What about a little i-cord bit matching up the 2 mittens so that it can be placed inside a jacket and not worry about losing them?
Oh and definately check out garnstudio for baby knitting inspiration, you will spend hours there oohing and aahing over the cardigans, booties, trousers etc they have there for babies.
