Sock progress

Posted by on Nov 01 2006 | Crafty things

Nanowrimo started today, and 21 hours in I’m finally getting to sit down and write, but all I really want to do is have a bath and go to bed. I’m a bit daunted by it this year.

Anyway, here’s the sock. It’s been a little neglected over the last while, as I’ve been working on christmas gifts instead, but this has been getting the odd row here and there, most recently on the bus this morning.(Can’t write on the bus, can only knit for a little bit before I start feeling bad)

Anyway, apologies for the short post, I can’t waste my precious words here. :-)

  3. I have been wondering where you got to. how many words then do you have to write again? Seems like serious pressure! I’d join you in it except that mine would be not worth reading…

  4. Nice to see the sock make an appearance. I have no doubt that you’ll finish it.

My brother does a lot of writing but he hadn’t mentioned this year’s event. Thanks for posting about it here. I often think he’d get a kick out of the Flicker Fiction too.

  5. Michelle: It’s a Lana Grossa Mielenweight (I think that’s how it’s spelled) that Bobbi sent to me when she was my secret pal spoiler in SP8. It’s really lovely to knit with and stripes really well.

Sara: 50,000. It’s not looking good.

Bobbi: I’m not letting myself cast on for another sock until I’m done, so hopefully it won’t take me too much longer. Flickr fiction’s open to other people, there’s information about it over on The Gurrier’s site.
