I thank you for being real about the patterns & how you end up ripping them out sometimes. It's a difficult decision, I know, but it's more difficult to look at a finished piece and know where the flaws are. Maybe that's why they're gifts to friends who live far away?

The knitted sushi is adorable!

I've yet to attempt knitting lace. I can crochet lace like its my job...but I have a feeling that knitting it will be entirely another situation, seeing as I tend to have wonky tension issues sometimes anyway, and yarn-overs scare me!

Keep up with the optimism...Branching Out will grow and prosper when you think and work on it with tender loving care. Good luck!

I love knitting during the weekend, better yet, I love knitting all the time! Good luck with Branching Out. I will be attempting that pattern with a papery cotton yarn. The result should be similar to linen or flax. I'll keep you posted if interested!
