It's a difficult decision, I know, but it's more difficult to look at a finished piece and know where the flaws are. Maybe that's why they're gifts to friends who live far away? I've yet to attempt knitting lace. I can crochet lace like its my job...but I have a feeling that knitting it will be entirely another situation, seeing as I tend to have wonky tension issues sometimes anyway, and yarn-overs scare me!
