Not enough free time
Does anyone else find that now and then everything just kinda explodes and there’s way too much to do and not enough time to do it in?
In two week’s time I’ll be off on holidays, which is great, and much needed, and I know I only need to hold out until then for a rest, but still, it’s all a bit much in between. I shouldn’t really be moaning, as a lot of what has me busy is totally self imposed, and not really unpleasant, but it doesn’t leave enough time for sitting around and reading/knitting/drinking tea. For the last week I’ve found that whenever I’ve stopped for five minutes it’s been stressful as I’ve been frantically trying to fit in all the relaxing.
It’s not really a cause for moaning, I could be in a lot worse situations. In fact, really, I think that my current problem is that I have to do a poster presentation for college on Saturday morning and I have a real problem with college deadlines. On top of full time work they get a bit stressful. The final deadline for my MSc is at the beginning of October. I have to remind myself of how I’m feeling at the moment every so often as I keep looking out for other courses to take up once I’m done.
I have no-one to blame but myself.
Blimey, holiday in less than 2 weeks – what knitting to take?
I doubt I’ll have made much more progress on the socks, so they’re a definite. But do I take another sock project along, or do I take a chance on encountering some good yarn while I’m away? (Going to Norway and Sweden)
Definately take your sock project with you, good excuse to get working on it. I think wait and see whats there, it looks like Norway and Sweden have some nice yarn shops and gives you a very good excuse to fill that spot in your suitcase..
