Tea and Cakes

Ok, so this is where those of you who don’t blog start to think I’m totally nuts, and those of you who blog but don’t knit think I’m slightly nuts.

I’ve signed up to Secret Pal 8, which starts in a couple of weeks. What this means is that I will be given a person to spoil for 14 weeks. They won’t know who I am, but I will send them presents, and emails, and e-cards and the like. I’ll know about them from their blog. In return, I will be spoiled, by different person, who will read my blog to know about me, and send me things, and be nice to me for a while. I’ll be able to thank them through the blog.

Secret pals will be allocated from May 15th, so from then I’ll know who I’ll be spoiling, but I’ll be keeping it a secret until the end. My secret pal, who will be spoiling me, will need to know stuff about me, so we’ve all been sent a questionnaire by the wonderful organisers.

I’m posting this to explain why the secret pal questionnaire has appeared in the pages to the right, and to explain why I’ll be thanking a complete stranger for sending me stuff. I’m very excited.
